 
800 Silver Shell Cameo Brooch or Pendant with Marcasite Border - Vintage 1940's
 Vintage silver cameo form the 1940's with fancy marcasite border. This cameo has nice carving, the upswept hair with flower, her earring, and flower on the shoulder are well portrayed. She has an unusual right glancing profile. The frame is marked 800 (800 parts of 1,000 pure silver) and measures 1 1/2" tall by 1 1/8" wide. The border of the frame has 16 prong set marcasites and it has a bale so that the cameo can be worn as a pendant.
